Le ministre de l’Enseignement supérieur, de la Recherche et de l’Innovation, Moussa Baldé, a donné un délai d’un mois afin que l’entreprise en charge de la construction, à Kolda, du campus pédagogique de l’université Assane Seck termine ce chantier, qui connaît des lenteurs.
M. Baldé, qui effectuait une visite sur le site, ne semble pas en effet optimiste quant à l’avancement des travaux du campus pédagogique. Il a prévenu que si aucun avancement n’est enregistré après le délai donné à l’entreprise en charge du chantier, les services compétents se verront dans l’obligation d’aller vers la résiliation du contrat.
Nous espérons que nous n’en arriverons pas à cette situation, a-t-il toutefois indiqué.
Il s’est cependant dit »satisfait de l’état d’avancement des travaux du campus social » de Kolda. ‘’Nous sommes revenus pour visiter le centre délocalisé de l’université Assane-Seck, communément appelé Université de Kolda, où nous avons constaté un bon état d’avancement des travaux du campus social d’une capacité de 500 lits’’, a-t-il déclaré au terme son déplacement. Ce campus social sera doté d’un centre médico-social et d’un restaurant de 500 places.
Lancés depuis plus de 5 ans, les travaux du centre délocalisé de l’Université Assane-Seck de Ziguinchor à Kolda peinent toujours à être terminés pour permettre aux étudiants, surtout de la région, de ‘’rester sur place » pour leurs études universitaires.
